Hey Y'all

A month ago Jon resigned and we decided we were gunna head for Spain, so we started learning Spanish and getting excited about Sangria. Next thing you know I hear that the family I used to work for in London need a nanny for 3 months while their nanny (my friend Jana) goes to India. Wow! Great, we can go to London I'll have work lined up, Jon gets to check out London and I get to see my darling friends again.....hang about...not so fast, just as we were brushing up on our cockney we learn that Tahi has to have a blood test 6 months before entering Europe. Hmmmm....that put a spanner in the works....so then we decided that we had better stay in the States but where did we want to go because we had realized that we wouldn't be able to handle the plastic-fantastic of Vegas for too much longer.

So now the plan is to head to San Francisco, Jon will stay with Compudigm, he will work from home and hopefully cut down to 32 hours a week rather then 40+ . Because Jon will be working from home I will have more spare time to do "me" stuff rather then being in the office all day...yay! I'm having romantic ideas of us getting a loft and me having a little studio for crafty stuff - more like a space where I put all those projects I start and never finish ;) Jon's having romantic ideas of going crazy at dance parties....arhhhhh domestic bliss!

We are still waiting to see if Compudigm will go for it - fingers crossed. I'll keep ya posted so that you can start planning your trips to San Fran - there will be no guest room I'm afraid, San Fran is a pricey place so it will be good-bye swimming pool, hello bedsit!

Below are some photo's from when Si was over, it was great having a friend staying, made us miss having all of you around and also made us see that we needed to move somewhere that we could meet more of our kind of people.

Hope all is good with you, thanks loads to those of you that have been blogging...makes us all warm and fuzzy inside :)

Loads of Love Sarah and Jon

We managed to blag our way in to Las Vega's newest, coolest restaurant on their "testing" night. We got a $350 meal for free because I claimed that they needed somebody with a disability to test the service in their restaurant. Nice one! Choice way to spend our last night with Si :)
